Gender Inequality in Politics
Gender inequality in politics – an unequal or imbalanced position of women and men in exercising political agency, participating in political processes, expressing political preferences, and making political decisions.
It may be manifested in unequal political representation, access to public office, influence over decision-making, and opportunities to participate in the formation and implementation of public policy.
