Intersectionality
Intersectionality – an analytical concept used to explain how different forms of discrimination, inequality, and oppression intersect and operate simultaneously. It emphasizes that systems of domination based on such categories as gender, race, class, sexuality, age, disability, religion, or ethnicity do not function in isolation, but interact with, reinforce, and shape one another.
