Sexual Autonomy
Sexual autonomy – a person’s right and capacity to make free, informed, and voluntary decisions concerning their sexuality, body, sexual relationships, and sexual activity, including whether, when, how, and with whom to engage in them.
Sexual autonomy is based on consent, bodily integrity, freedom from coercion and violence, and respect for the rights and autonomy of others.
