Gender Differences in Living Standards
Gender differences in living standards – differences or inequalities between gender groups in material well-being, reflected in indicators of individual income, earnings, access to economic resources, consumption, housing conditions, and economic security.
In a narrower sense, the term refers to gender-based differences in the ways individual income is generated and received.
