Gender Segregation

Gender Segregation – predominant communication with people of one’s own sex/gender and the limitation of contacts with people of the opposite sex/gender. It is observed in children’s play without adult participation and, in adulthood, in friendly and business relationships.

The phenomenon opposite to gender segregation is the convergence of the sexes.
